Leak sealing on pressurized systems

Our leak repair methods are designed to address leaks that can occur from various sources, including flanges, cracked pipes, valves, and more.

We offer a diverse range of leakage products that can be adapted to different situations and needs. Some of our leakage products require professional installation by skilled personnel to ensure correct and effective use. These products are often developed to handle more complex leakage situations and require specialized knowledge for correct application.

On the other hand, we also offer products such as molded clamps and sealing tape that are easier to use and do not necessarily require professionals for installation. These products provide a user-friendly solution that can be used by people without specialized training, and they provide fast and reliable temporary repairs.

Whichever product is chosen, we ensure that our leak repair solutions meet industry standards and provide reliable results to minimize the impact of leaks and maintain continuous operation.

Leak sealing services

Leaks can occur from flanges, cracked pipes, valves, etc. Several of the leakage products require specialist personnel for correct use. Molded clamps and sealing tape, on the other hand, do not require professionals.

Regardless of the shape of the flange (round, oval, square), the clamps are gradually injected into the space between the flanges until the leak is stopped. By installing the G-clamp around the stuffing box, you ensure complete safety, both when drilling through and when injecting sealant. Once the clamp is installed, you have full access to the valve. Our sealing boxes, filled with sealant, will effectively seal leaks no matter what type of problem you are experiencing in the pipe system.

Molded clamps

Molded clamps or Colmex clamps. With these clamps, you don't need a Thermotech technician to stop the leak, whether you use molded clamps or Colmex clamps

With the molded clamps, the leak is stopped simply by compressing the predetermined connection over the pipe. Molded clamps are always available in stock. For straight runs, we have molded clamps from ½″ up to 10″. For 90° bends, we can offer molded clamps from 1 ½″ up to 6″.

Colmex clamps are for use on straight pipes or T-joints. The clamps are shaped as a cylindrical shell in two halves, which are internally coated. The clamps are available in sizes from 1/2" x 60 mm and 20 bar, and up to 8" x 100 mm up to 12 bar. Several options are available, depending on the choice of coating.

Sealant

With our compound sealant, all leaks such as steam, water, acids, hydrocarbons, etc. can be stopped. We provide equipment and personnel to inject the compound into the installed clamps.

Our injection system can consist of:
Hand pump for injection of 1 stick at once.
Turbo pump for injection of 1 or 4 sticks simultaneously.
Turbine pump for injection of 10 sticks simultaneously.

Different types of leaks require different sealing components - we have a sealant for all.
